Troy is a firm believer in the importance of a good foundation for every horse with balance, rhythm, and self-carriage being key. A good foundation ≡ longevity in the show pen. "We as horse trainers should have the "big picture" in mind and the well being of the horse down the road. Horses are investments (not just financial ones) and if a proper foundation is not achieved, that investment is not protected, and not growing."
